Choose a match

Six competitions carry full event data — every pass, carry, take-on, tackle and shot. Filter by team, pick a match, and the whole page becomes its case file. The address bar follows you: every match and every player dashboard has a shareable URL.

Deep event coverage: World Cup 2022 & 2018, Euro 2024 & 2020 (230 matches) plus the full 2015/16 Premier League and La Liga seasons (760 matches).

The scoreline

The shape of both teams

Average on-ball position, joined by the most frequent completed passes — node size is touches, line weight is passes between the pair. The default window stops when the first substitution breaks the shape; switch it to read either half, the whole match, or the reshaped side after that first change — and flip on the failed passes to see where the moves died.

Passing networks …

The chances

Every shot, sized by its expected-goal value, with the freeze-frame context — how far the keeper was off the line and how many bodies stood in the cone — one hover away. Below, where each side actually lived.

The rhythm

The match as two clocks: cumulative xG as chances arrive, and expected threat accumulated in five-minute bins — the momentum chart pundits describe by hand.

The player autopsy

One player, one graphic: the full-pitch action map, the touch heat, the five most-found teammates, and the match-rank medal table — dense-ranked against every player who saw fifteen minutes. Use the share button on the card to export it as a PNG.

Key passages

The ten five-minute windows where expected threat swung hardest one way, replayed on a pitch — the on-ball actions of the side that owned the passage, in order.

How it’s computed

xG here is StatsBomb’s model, so totals will not match the Understat figures used elsewhere on this site. Where a scoreline exceeds the goals in the shot list, the difference is own goals.
